Meet Allison

Alley Hunt Art was founded by artist Allison Cooper, a lifelong lover of the water, boats, and the easy joy that comes from coastal living. Growing up along the North Carolina coast, Allison spent countless hours on the water, where her appreciation for color, movement, and light first took shape. She later graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, but long before graduation, her art was already finding homes of its own.

What began as commissioned paintings for family and friends quickly grew through word of mouth and social media, and Allison soon realized she was spending more time painting than studying. With an enthusiastic spirit and a deep commitment to her craft, she turned her passion into a full-time career—one rooted in creativity, connection, and faith.

Inspired by coastal life and southern charm, Allison’s work is known for its bright, joyful color palette and playful nautical themes. Today, Alley Hunt Art has expanded beyond original paintings into thoughtfully designed products including glass cutting boards, ornaments, art prints, and a growing collection of gifts—each one created to bring beauty, joy, and meaning into everyday life.
